Welcome to the official Cór Ainglí website!
Mary Mc Laughlin and her Cór Ainglí ("Choir of Angels") have been enthralling Bay Area audiences since 2006 with their dynamic and beautiful interpretations of Irish sacred music in Irish Gaelic, Latin, and English.
Whether it's a pre-Christian May Day song or a 13th century monastic chant; a contemplative hymn or an up-tempo Christmas carol; sung a cappella or accompanied by traditional instruments such as harp and bodhrán; this music has the power to awaken and delight that which is spiritual in all of us, regardless of religion.
Mary's original arrangements, featuring lushly layered harmonies, breathe new life into Ireland's most ancient vocal music. Her thrilling interpretation of Gregorian chant and Gaelic traditional song is further augmented by her knack for story-telling and entertaining an audience.
